We want everything clear before you ever pay a cent. Below is exactly how deposits, dates, permits, weather, rescheduling and refunds work — in plain English. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we'll put it in writing.
To book, you pay a deposit (a percentage of your total). The deposit reserves your date, gives you priority, and lets us begin the permit and planning work immediately. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your ceremony. All payments are made securely online by card through our payment processor; we never see or store your full card details.
Prices shown in the Wedding Designer are an estimate of your chosen build, not a final contract. Your coordinator confirms the final total with you in writing before the balance is due.
The moment your deposit clears, your date is reserved for you and we begin filing the required city or county permit for your chosen beach. Because these beaches are public land, the permit — not us — is the final word on whether a given date and spot can be used.
If the permit cannot be granted for your exact date or location, you choose one of two things, at no cost to you: a full refund of your deposit, or we move your wedding to the nearest available date or a comparable nearby beach. You never lose money because of a permit.
Until a permit is confirmed, any date shown to you is tentative and confirmed by our team — we never promise a date we can't yet secure.
Florida's Gulf Coast is sunny most of the year, and quick passing showers rarely stop a beach ceremony. We plan around the forecast, and as your day approaches your coordinator stays in close, constant contact with you — so there are never any surprises.
If conditions become genuinely unsafe — lightning, a named storm, or an official public-safety warning — we will move your ceremony to a safe time the same day, or reschedule it to another date, at no penalty. Weather reschedules are always free, and your deposit and all payments carry over in full to the new date. In the case of a hurricane or major storm, we will do everything we can to reschedule to a date that suits you, working closely together throughout. We will never ask you to stand in unsafe weather, and we never add charges because of it. Ordinary rain is not grounds for a refund, but it is always grounds for our flexibility.
We'll always do our best to move your date when our calendar allows — reschedules are handled case by case, working together to find a new date that fits. We ask for at least two weeks' notice for any reschedule request, and we cannot reschedule within the final week before your ceremony. Any genuine, unrecoverable third-party costs already spent on your behalf (for example, a permit fee already filed) may be passed on. Weather is the exception: if conditions are unsafe, we reschedule at no penalty, whenever your safety requires it.
If we cannot deliver your wedding — a permit we can't secure, or a date we can't hold — you receive a full refund, including your deposit.
If you choose to cancel, your deposit is non-refundable, because it reserved your date and started real work (permit, coordination, supplier holds) the moment you paid. Anything you paid beyond the deposit is fully refundable up to the balance-due date (30 days before the ceremony). We believe in fair outcomes — if your situation is exceptional, talk to us.
Every wedding includes the items listed in your Wedding Designer build — photography and videography, fresh flowers, your coordinator, the beach permit, the officiant and ceremony styling — plus any add-ons you select. Your written confirmation is the definitive list of what's included.
Unless expressly listed, the following are not included: your marriage licence, travel and accommodation, guest transport, and anything outside the agreed ceremony window.
Your marriage will be legally valid provided you obtain a valid Florida marriage licence before the ceremony. The licence is a separate legal document that, in most cases, the couple obtains themselves — your coordinator guides you through exactly how, when and where. We cannot marry you without it, and failing to provide one is not grounds for a refund.
These are public beaches, and we all follow their rules. Alcohol is not permitted on Florida's public beaches — so toasts and celebrations with alcohol are arranged at a permitted venue or reception space rather than on the sand. We also follow posted ordinances on amplified music, open flames, décor and pack-in/pack-out, so your ceremony stays welcome and worry-free.
Your safety comes first: our team may adjust or pause any element of the day for safety reasons (weather, tides, crowds, wildlife). We carry appropriate insurance for our services. We are not liable for personal belongings, guest conduct, third-party suppliers you engage directly, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Couples and guests agree to follow beach rules and lawful instructions from our team and local authorities.
You can refine your design with your coordinator up until your details are finalised. Add-ons and guest-count changes adjust your total accordingly. Once your balance is paid and final details are locked (typically 30 days out), significant changes may not be possible, but we'll always tell you honestly what can and can't be done.
